I’ve been published in Home Business Magazine

homebusinessmagazinelogomain Ive been published in Home Business MagazineA few months back, I was asked to do an article for Home Business Magazine on how someone could use technology to expand their business beyond their own geographical border, whether it be locally, nationally or internationally.   I was paid a nice fee and they also mentioned the URL of Better Than Therapy and Make Use Of which was a nice bonus.    The only downside to that is I’ve been a bit busy lately to post anything of substance to this blog so if I get a rush of visitors, I’d better start posting some stuff!

The article is now out in the October edition of the magazine and this morning, I received a free copy of the magazine from the editor.   Thankfully, they had shrunk my picture down to a thumbnail (!).   So if you normally subscribe to the magazine, just turn to page 32!

The magazine won’t post the article online until next month when the November edition comes out but I will scan my article later as a PDF file and post it here on the blog.   It’s called “Bust Out Of Your Borders With Technology” (they chose the title, not me!)

UPDATEHere’s the link to the article (it’s a PDF file)

I rang them and warned them it might be wise move to shrink your picture down!

    Haha, good work… =P

Did they see you on MUO and email you for an article?

    Ha! Thanks! :-)

I had talked to the editor a while earlier about another story idea and she had rejected it. So I forgot all about it and moved on. Then suddenly she emailed out of the blue and offered me this assignment with a very short deadline and a nice lucrative fee to make up for it. I think another writer had let her down and she needed someone else to step in and finish the assignment.
