Some Google search listings are now showing a “skip intro” link if the webpage in question has a Flash page as their start page.

This feature is excellent if the webpage has a long-winded and boring Flash animation that is going to put you to sleep, when all you want is a contact phone number or email address for the company. I’ve seen plenty of these sites - flashing lights, porno movie-like music and models acting like “satisfied customers”. Meanwhile you’re sitting there screaming “give me the ’skip intro’ link!!”

I tried Googling around for different search listings with the “skip intro” option but it seems the only one I can find is the one that Philipp Lenssen from Google Blogoscoped found which was Yuasa France. So maybe this isn’t a widely available feature yet. Probably one of those trial features from Google Labs. I really hope this one graduates.
