What’s the new Google logo?
I just went to Google and spotted a new logo in place of the usual Google logo :

Anyone have any idea what the occasion is and what the new logo means? I can’t seem to find any official explanation from Google.

They do some really cool logos on different days. I read an article about the guy who designs most of the custom ones. It was pretty interesting.

Hi there:
If you float the cursor over the image, a text explanation will show up.
For 125, I hope it was one HELL of a party!
Thanks–

As mentioned by PaulinMiami, Google always include an explanatory tooltip with their special logos. Also, if only you had clicked the image instead of grabbing the screenshot and posting it you’d have found out everything you wanted to know: Google also include a custom search with the logos.

I actually did move the mouse over the image and nothing came up.
And I didn’t know that you could find out by clicking on the image. But now I do know - thanks to you Melvyn.
