The MyBlogLog HTML signature

mybloglogsig The MyBlogLog HTML signature The extremely useful MyBlogLog, which I find invaluable for keeping track of my blog visitors, as well as my most popular blog links, has now brought out a HTML interactive email signature which you can use to promote yourself in your emails.

But it seems to only work in Outlook and Thunderbird. Attempts to install it into Gmail failed.

This is despite the fact that the Better Gmail extension, brought out by Lifehacker, allows you to insert a HTML signature into your Gmail emails. But it seems that the MyBlogLog signature is too long as the Better Gmail extension only allows HTML signatures of up to 1000 characters. Attempts to cut away all the unnecessary clutter didn’t do it any good - the sig is still too long for Gmail.

This signature looks great but it’s not going to tear me away from Gmail.

If you don’t show the services, it’s well under 1k. That’s our little geeky ‘will work in gmail’ hack ;)

Well the point is moot now. The new Gmail has broken a lot of the Greasemonkey scripts - including the ability to add HTML signatures to Gmail. I don’t mind losing other scripts but losing the HTML signature ability has really hacked me off.
