Well it’s been a hard few days but I think the blog transition to Wordpress is all but complete. A few wrinkles to iron out and a bit rough around the edges but on the whole, it’s mostly finished.

I’ll blog more in detail over the next couple of days about the switch as I think I learned a lot of important stuff which could benefit others. Right now, all I want is dinner, a bath and then bed!

But suffice to say :

You don’t have to do anything on your end to your BTT subscription. I have altered Feedburner so you will now get the new posts from the Wordpress blog.

The old Better Than Therapy will remain at my other site. I was going to move all the posts over until I was reminded that I would be losing all the permalinks and comments. So that will stay there but won’t be updated anymore.

I couldn’t have done this without the help of Aibek at MakeUseOf who stayed up most of the night to help me finally get the problems fixed. Aibek is an amazing generous guy and if you haven’t done so already, you can subscribe to his RSS feed. Thanks also to Mr C at Google Tutor for taking the time to explain to me some things about SEO that I didn’t realise as well as advising me on some Wordpress issues. Again, you can “tip him” by subscribing to the Google Tutor RSS feed.

This is starting to sound like an Oscar acceptance speech so I’ll wrap this up. Stay tuned for lots more content over the coming days.
